Paul Mescal made a striking appearance at the Actor Awards in Los Angeles, joining co-stars Jessie Buckley and Jacobi Jupe for the evening event. The 30-year-old actor, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role as William Shakespeare in Hamnet, looked sharp in a black suit paired with a silk shirt and necktie. He shared the moment with Jessie Buckley, 36, who is also nominated for Best Actress, as they enjoyed a luxurious dinner before the ceremony.

Jessie dazzled in a black and white Balenciaga gown, while 12-year-old Jacobi Jupe, who plays their onscreen son Hamnet, opted for a sparkly gold blazer. The film Hamnet is not only up for Best Supporting Actor and Best Actress but also for the prestigious Cast In A Motion Picture Award, highlighting its strong ensemble performance.

This year’s ceremony has rebranded itself as The Actor Awards, aiming to strengthen its global identity and focus on honoring performers. The event will be streamed live on Netflix, offering awards across 28 categories, including film, television, and limited series. Each category typically features six nominees, except for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, which includes eight contenders.

On the film side, One Battle After Another leads with seven nominations, closely followed by Sinners with five. The competition for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role is particularly fierce, with names like Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothée Chalamet, Michael B.
